Project Proposal:
”Propaganda Techniques”

for small chamber ensemble, electronics, and optional video

I am seeking collaborators for a new work for chamber ensemble and electronics. For this project, I will be using a 1950’s educational video on the use of propaganda techniques in US elections. Although created for half a century ago, this video is surprisingly prescient about our digital media landscape.

The finished work will be a 20-25 minute, multi-movement work for small chamber ensemble that combines the audio elements of the included video, alongside additional electronic sounds.

There will be an optional video component, built primarily from the included video.
